Original language description

The pI50 index and separation coefficients of chosen 3-N,N-diethylaminophenyl-N´,N´-dialkylcarbamates were determined. Index pI50 (= negative logarithm of molar cocentration of of inhibitor inhibiting the enzyme activity by 50%) describes the effectiveness of the inhibitor. The rate of ability of the inhibitor to pass the blood-brain barrier is usually described by its separation coefficient in a systém n-octanol/water (Kow). Obtained results were compared with pI50 and Kow of Excelon?, the commerciallyused drug against Alzheimer´s disease.

Czech description

Byla stanoveny indexy pI50 a rozdělovací koeficienty vybraných 3-N,N-diethylainofenyl-N´,N´-dialkylkarbamátů. Index pI50 (= záporný logaritmus molární koncentrace inhibitoru ihibujícího aktivitu enzymu o 50 %) udává účinnost daného inhibitoru. Míra schopnosti inhibitoru překonat mozkovou biomembránu je obvykle popisována jeho rozdělovacím koeficientem v systému n-oktanol/voda (Kow). Získané výsledky byly porovnávány s hodnotami pI50 a Kow Excelonu?, komerčně užívaného léku proti Alzheimerově chorobě.
