The 14th Seminar on New Trends in Research of Energetic Materials was intended to be a world meeting of young people and university teachers working in the fields of teaching, research, development, processing, analyzing and application of all kinds of energetic materials but attention also be devoted to problems of safety engineering. Its main focus was aimed towards "Energetic Materials, Sensitivity and Performance". Attended were the 183 specialists (from them 58 Czech citizens) from 25 countries (about 70 from all these participants were young people). In the two-part anthology 117 papers were published from which 89 were presented by their authors at the international audience of this Seminar. International Scientific Committee of the seminar undertaken an evaluation of the presentation of young active participants - the first price for oral and the second price for poster presentations were gained by the PhD student of the Institute of Energetic Materials at University of Pardubi
