The 26th international seminar 'New Trends in Research of Energetic Materials' – NTREM was held at the University Hall A1, University of Pardubice between April 17th and 19th, 2024. The twenty sixth consecutive seminar on new trends in research of energetic materials (NTREM) is intended to be a world meeting where junior scientists and students meet with each other and also with well-established experts working in the fields of teaching, research, development, processing, analyzing and application of all kinds of energetic materials. The papers presented at NTREM should not only describe research work, but should also demonstrate awareness of the context and background for the research.The goal of the organizing committee is to create a pleasant atmosphere where young specialists from different countries will have an opportunity to exchange professional information as well as gain personal contacts with others working in the field of energetic materials. The full-text papers presented at this meeting will be published in seminar proceedings.
