Original language description
This work is focused on investigation of dynamic behaviour of the modernized six-axle diesel-electric locomotive Class C30-M under the condition of 1524 mm track gauge for purposes of vehicle authorization for operation on the Finnish railway infrastructure. This assessment was performed by means of multi-body simulations in a pre-defined range of the track conditions (simulation scenarios). The original range of calculations (simulation scenarios 1 up to 3) was supplemented on basis of discussion with DeBo by the simulation scenario No. 4 (increased maximum speed) and an assessment of wheel load change of the locomotive on a twisted track, performed by means of an analytical calculation. Besides to that, the track gauge related differences between the Estonian and the Finnish infrastructure as well as the relevant requirements on wheelsets are summarized.
