    TITO decentralized PI control using static decoupling compensators

  • Original language description

    Three different decoupling methods are recommended for Two-Input, Two-Output (TITO) processes. The methods are using static pre-, post- and mutual pre- and post-compensator, the latter one based on Singular Value Decomposition (SVD). The processes decoupled in steady-state are controlled by decentralized discrete-time PI controllers. As an application the concentration control of distillate and bottom product of a binary distillation column is simulated. It is shown that using a pre-compensator has someadvantages over post-compensating.

    Tři metody kompenzace jsou zkoumány pro dvourozměrové procesy. Jsou použity metody statického pre-, post- a SVD-kompenzátoru (Singular Value Decomposition). Procesy kompenzované v ustáleném stavu jsou řízeny diskrétními PID regulátory.
