Analysis of Railway Track Dynamic Parameters
Original language description
Recently railway administration companies found overloading of ballast bed under concrete sleepers. This overloading causes an irregular settlement of track length and consequently a decrease of track quality. Such deterioration leads to significantly higher dynamic effects, which cause defects or failures of permanent way elements, e.g. failures of frogs, cracks of the sleepers, breakage of screws etc. The paper is focused on analysis of railway track bed parameters at dynamic loading. The measurementof track elements vibration and rail deflection is proposed as a tool for explanation of dynamic behaviour of ballasted track. The analysis of the concrete sleeper behaviour in ballast bed includes theoretical and experimental parts. The theoretical analysis discusses the application of the theory for beam on an elastic foundation for moving axles and boogies. The influence of dynamic parameters on the shape of rail deflection curve for a typical boogie is studied. The large amount of me
