This paper described the simulation of the ATM connection at the Department of Telecommunication Brno University of technology using simulation program COMNET3. In the research was also measured the traffic in normal operation of the switches and of thelinks, and it was also measured the traffic if they have some fault in link or switch then to keep the network to operate with small delays due to duplicates path or additional nodes.
