Symbol Length Estimation in Modulated Signals

  • Original language description

This paper presents new algorithms for symbol length estimation in modulated signals. For symbol length detection, three methods were proposed which are based on wavelet transform, LPC coefficients and cepstrum analysis. The methods were applied to signals with FSK, MSK, BPSK, QAM and QPSK modulations. These methods were tested in signals with white Gaussian noise and with different length of signals.
