Original language description
This paper deals with generic principles that are used to achieve interoperability in heterogeneous systems. Interoperability classes are provided and operations for working with ontologies are defined. Based on these operations, rules and classes an interoperability framework intended for exchange of data in sensor networks and data acquisition systems is created.
