Negative Electrodes Based on Sodium Ceramics
Original language description
Renewable resources and shifting to the green energetics are very important themes in current society. The development of renewable resources brings with it also a development of electricity storages. I current storage technologies are used lithium ion batteries. Lithium ion batteries among many advantages have a few disadvantages such higher price and rarity of lithium. Effort of develop a different battery system based on more common elements and properties comparable to lithium ion batteries is carried out at present. The second closest element in alkali metal group is sodium. Now the area of sodium ion accumulators have a gigantic development. The sodium ion technology is still in the beginnings and lot of obstacle need to be crossed to get it to large commercial use. One of the unknowns is behaviour of the sodium ion system at different temperatures. This paper is focused on the influence of temperature on capacity of negative electrode material based on sodium metatitanate. The capacity in first
