Identification of probiotic bacteria in foods and other complex matrices
Original language description
Different types of magnetic non-porous poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-glycidyl methacrylate) - P(HEMA-co-GMA) microspheres, poly(2-hydroxyethyl methacrylate-co-etylene dimethacrylate - P(HEMA-co-EDMA) and poly(glycidylmethacrylate) - (PGMA) coveredby carboxyl groups were tested for the DNA isolation from crude cell lysates of probiotic dairy products, fermented meat products (probiotic salami), food additives, feces etc. These types of products represent a matrix characterized by a complex composition including the presence of inhibitors that affect the course of PCR. Isolated DNAs were without PCR inhibitors which was demonstrated using PCR and real-time PCR. Probiotic species were identified in accordance with the declaration of producers usually.
