Antimicrobial activity of nanofibers enriched by essential oils against Cutibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis
Original language description
Enriched PHB and gelatine nanofibers with chosen essential oils were tested for antimicrobial activity by broth dilution method and method of agar diffusion. The results of both methods showed the inhibitory effect of essential oils against Cutibacterium acnes and Staphylococcus epidermidis in the case of gelatine nanofibers. The PHB nanofibers were not suitable for this purpose.
