Some aspects of internationallisation of SME´s in Czech republic
Original language description
This article focuses on justification of the meaning of the process of internationalisation of small and middle sized companies in the Czech Republic. The briefly outlined contemporary state of recognition points at generally growing role of SME´s in theworld economics. The environment in which Czech companies are found is distinctive by certain specifics that are mostly the result of the short history of SME´s in the Czech Republic. At the beginning of the economic transformation the SME´s sector didnot exist at all and the number of foreign companies in the economics of the Czech Republic was minor. Since 1989 significant changes in this sector have taken place. SME´s are considered to be the main driving power of the economic growth and structuralchanges. The research project focuses mainly on three aspects that influence the position of Czech SME´s in the process of internationalisation and their competitiveness to a great extend.
