  • Original language description

    The mechanistically new conversion of fused pyran-2-one derivatives affords pyridazino[4,3-c]azepines. Namely, the first derivatives of pyridazino [4,3-c]azepines were prepared by the reaction of pyrano[4,3-c] azepines with hydrazine hydrate. Following oxidation of the products by thallium(III) nitrate or copper(II) acetate gave aromatised fused pyridazine derivatives.
