  • Original language description

    A novel reaction starting from pyrano[3,2-c]azepines and hydrazine hydrate was used for the preparation of the first derivatives of pyridazino[4,3-c]azepines. They were further oxidised by thallium(III) nitrate trihydrate or copper(II) acetate hydrate togive aromatised fused pyridazine derivatives also containing an ester function formed from the carbohydrazide moiety.
