  • Original language description

    2H-Pyran-2-ones and fused pyran-2-ones are important synthons and building blocks in heterocyclic synthesis. A novel reaction for the preparation of the first derivatives of pyridazino[4,3-c]azepines starting from pyrano[3,2-c]azepines and hydrazine hydrate in the presence of p-toluenesulfonic acid was already preliminary described. Further investigation of this reaction with different 3-amino-2H-pyran-2-ones and fused 3-aminopyran-2-ones yielding analogues of 1,4-dihydropyridazine-3-carboxylic acid hydrazide (1) (or its aromatised derivative) as wel as further oxidative transformations of the products 1 to 1,4-dihydropyridazine-3-carboxylates or pyridsazine-3-carboxylates by means of various oxidants (thallium(III) nitrate, copper(II) acetate, ceric(IV) ammonium nitrate, oxygen etc.).
