The presence of PPv in sweet cherry (Prunus avium) has been previously reported within an experimental collection of cherry genotypes in Czech Republic. The strain specific PCR and sequence analysis of NIb-CP-3´NCR region (1375 bp lenght) of PPV isolate13/2 CZ identified that isolate as member of PPV-Rec group

V kolekci sledovaných stromů třešni byla popsána přítomnost PPV. Pomocí specifická PCR a sekvenční analýzy regionu NIb-CP-3´NCR (1375 bp) byl izolát PPV 13/2 CZ identifikován jako člen skupiny PPV-Rec.
