Abstract of poster presentation on conference: TOXON 2017: Interdisciplinary Toxicology Conference, published in: Interdisciplinary Conference, Vol. 10, 2017, Suppl. 1, p. 33-34. The aim of this study was to determine differences in enzyme activities and expressions of cytochromes P450 caused by change in a diet or prolonged life of broiler roosters. The effect of feed with increased content of anthocyanins on the activity of enzymes of the first phase of biotransformation. In the feed dose was different content of wheat. Total antioxidant capacity in animal plasma was increased by 20% compared to the control variant. The results show that consumption of colored wheat with higher anthocyanin content may affect enzyme activity, especially some forms of cytochrome P450 (CYP). The results show that when half the broilers use feed doses of 50% wheat, then the activity of xenobiotic enzymes from the CYP group is significantly reduced.
