Milk urea analytical result reliability and its methodical possibilities in the Czech Republic.
Original language description
Question is milk urea concentration (MUC) result reliability improvement. MUC was investigated in 5 milk sample sets and in 7 calibration experiments. The positions of methods were changed. There were following methods for MUC (in mg.100 ml-1): ? photometric method (PH, as reference (R)); ? method Ureakvant (UK, as R) based on enzymatic change of electrical conductivity; ? method Chemspec (CH as R); ? spectroscopic method in mid IR range of spectrum (FT?MIR; indirect routine method). Between method correlation coefficients varied 0.8803 - 0.9943 (P < 0.001). The MUC R methods (UK, PH) had better values of accuracy (1.14 - 1.81) and comparable values of repeatability (0.65 - 1.83) as compared to FT?MIR.
