  • Original language description

This paper focuses on the analysis of interactive education for Generation Z at the Moravian Business College Olomouc and its impact on students' academic performance and motivation. In the rapidly evolving educational landscape, understanding the preferences and needs of Generation Z students is essential for optimizing their learning experiences. To gain insights into this area, a survey study was conducted involving 350 students at the university, resulting in a sample of 169 analyzed responses. The questionnaire was administered using a survey technique, specifically designed to concentrate on students' preferences regarding various educational methods and technologies they would like to see implemented in their learning environments. Most questions were formulated according to the Likert scale, allowing for nuanced responses and deeper analysis. The objective of this research is to explore how modern teaching methods and technologies influence the engagement and success of Generation Z students. Additionally, the study aims to identify areas for improvement in the educational process that can enhance learning outcomes. The findings indicate that 60% of respondents prefer the inclusion of virtual reality in education, highlighting a strong interest in immersive learning experiences. Furthermore, the majority of students favor in-person study complemented by interactive elements, suggesting that traditional methods still hold significant value when enhanced with modern technology. It was also found that students appreciate the modernization of teaching methods and recognize its positive impact on their motivation. Based on these insights, the paper recommends integrating new technologies into the educational process, such as online assessments and augmented reality, to enhance academic outcomes. Future research should consider broader samples and additional universities to provide a more comprehensive analysis of Generation Z's needs and effective pedagogical methods.
