Effect of heat on desalination ability of the ED module
Original language description
The aim of this study was to measure the material properties of certain ion-exchange materials used in electrodialysis (ED) at elevated teploty.Pokud regards ion exchange resins, measure their deformation resistance were carried out at various temperatures. If the ion-exchange membrane were measured in their procedural changes under the influence of temperature. To get a full view, we were also examined characteristics of ED spacers "during temperature changes. For each experiment was designed unique working methodology and measuring instruments. Dependency of temperature on the degree of desalting certain ion exchange resins have been described, and it was found that this dependence is a characteristic feature of each resin and can not be described by the universal equation. Addition observed a significant influence of temperature changes on ion-exchange membranes and Ed spacer, and it was further examined. This work confirms that research on the thermal properties of ion-exchange materials is of great importance, particularly for their use in industrial ED modules
