Today, the green “trend” is rapidly spreading across Europe. Consumers’ segments, each with its own response time to this new development have been identified. The observable differences in their worldview and/or purchasing behaviour are influenced by gender, age, education level and/or by the size of respondents’ hometowns. This paper summarises the research results of Czech consumers’ green behaviour in the context of their demography and motivation to be green.
