The present invention relates to a headrest provided with an expansion mechanism. This headrest protects the head and the neck even in case of an oblique or side collision.According to the patent rules, there are two results, a European patent, granted by the European Patent Office, and a Japanese patent, granted by P-Plat Pat (Japan Patent Office). For both patents, we have obtained a separate Certificate of Grant under the specified conditions, and it is therefore not a validation of a European patent.
