Effect of roller crown shape on cam stress
Original language description
The aim of this paper is to outline the issues of the influence of the cam follower crown geometric shape in cam mechanisms on the stress of the surface layers of the general kinematic pair. The mentioned type of kinematic constraint in the practical embodiment is usually most often constituted by a cylindrical roller and a cam or a roller with a convex crown and a cam.
