This paper is concerned with selected activities of The National Textile Research Centre II (NTRC); NTRC is five-year project administrated by Czech Ministry of Education. Research projects are divided into following classes: research and testing of mechanical and technological complexes for the manufacture of new products and optimisation and innovation of the chosen systems of textile machines with impact on textile processes. The selected results in the above mentioned classes are demonstrated and briefly described.
