"In the first part of this paper the main area of technical textiles applications are summarized. The basic ways of development in this field are shown. The second part is devoted to the selected activities of National Textile Research Centre II (NTRC),These projects are divided into following classes: Extension of system of the fabric projection, Optimum designs of textile products, Textile sensors and sensors for textiles, Principles of stabilizing of active substances on textile substrates and Textiles for special applications. The selected results in the above mentioned classes will be demonstrated and briefly described."
