Air overpressure in mould cavity influence on injection molded parts mechanical and surface properties.
Original language description
Plastics injection molding process is possible to optimize from many points of view. Main goal of this optimization is to short cycle time and improve injection molded parts properties such a mechanical, optical, electrical or surface properties where issurface quality without sink marks very important. Abstract of the paper should have approximately ten lines and must be written in world language. Goal of this paper is to present injection molding process innovation evolved on Technical university ofLiberec possible contributions. This innovation consists in air overpressure setting in mould cavity from injection phase beginning. Basic supposition is to partly substitute conventional holding phase which is standardly beginning up to injection phase.Effect of this can be in cycle time shortening because of shorter conventional holding phase time or improved injection molded parts properties because of volume affected by holding phase rather by processes ongoing during holding phase
