Original language description
Insert technology in plastic injection moulding brings a lot of advantages, especially combination of plastic and metal physical properties. Metal inserts have to be fixed in the mould because a plastic melt is filling a cavity with relative high velocity and a pressure increase can move a metal insert to incorrect position. Design of parts very often doesn?t allow 100% fixation and the task of technology is to determine optimal filling velocity of plastic. This contribution analyzes, investigate and evaluate that dynamic effect on part dedicated for automotive industry. During experiment we optimized a tool design and set optimal velocity to obtain proper and repeatable injection moulding process.
