Identification of pneumatic positional servomechanism
Original language description
This article describes an online identification of pneumatic positional servomechanism with one-side piston rod. The pneumatic servomechanism is a non-linear system and that is why its identification and control is more exacting than at hydraulic or electric servomechanisms. To be able to control this pneumatic system it is not sufficient just to set the resultant transfer of the system and calculate the parameters of the controller, but the system also has to be identified continuously and simultaneously with the identification of the parameters of the controller which have to be re-set, depending on the achieved mathematical model. The article is divided into two related parts, this first part describes an identification of the pneumatic system and aconvert to the state space and the second part "Regulation of pneumatic positional servomechanism? is devoted to the regulation of the pneumatic system with an adaptive LQ controller.
