This paper deals with lubricant evaluation from their conditioning and decrease point of view on influence of lubricant part during subsequent processing - drawing of car-body stampings.Using of lubricant during drawing represents one of the tribologicalsystem conditions which influences whole drawing procedure and into great extent takes part on final stamping quality. Lubricants as partial element in tribological system: tool-material-lubricant have their important role at drawing mainly in the caseof demanding stampings for automotive industry.The aim of paper is to present unique measuring device for determination lubricant layer on stamping´s surface and to find out answers on questions about decrease of applied forming lubricants amount under common series production conditions at forming of irregular stampings for car-body design.
