    Some submicron compositions and their electromechanical properties

  • Original language description

    The paper deals with electroactive submicron compositions based on the ferroelectric multidomaine lead zirconate-titanate Pb(ZrxTi1-x)O3 (PZT), and zinc oxide (ZnO) thin films, deposited on the Si-substrate. The laboratory investigations of the electromechanical response were realized by double beam interferometer. Experimentally, the PZT (54/46) (100)-orientation and ZnO (002) thin films were prepared by RF magnetron sputtering so that the Pt/Ti/SiO2/Si compositions were created. Thin film samples wereinvestigated under high electric excitations and corresponding strains. The samples exhibit nonlinear piezoelectric response and frequency dispersion. The results are discussed and compared with the published data.
