The Mathematical Modelling of the Transport of the Contaminants

Original language description

The mathematical model of unsteady unsaturated porous media fluid flow is described. Mixed-hybrid formulation for the time discretized problem is used and the nonlinear problem arising in each time step is treated. Further, the mixed-hybrid model of convection-diffussion-reaction transport of dissolved chemicals and finite volume model of the time splitting transport are discussed. Theoretical as well as computational aspects of this approach are investigated.
