Original language description
The paper presents a method of generating linear code words and non-code words with the help of cellular automata (CA). The designed CA can generate all the code words of codes with minimal code distance greater than 3 after seeding with one seed only.This automaton can generate also non-code words with advantageous properties and it can be used as stimuli for pseudorandom and or pseudoexhaustive testing. We have compared the quality of the patterns with those ones obtained from LFSR, the CA patterns are more advantageous.
