Diversity Management and Gender Pay Gap
Original language description
The paper introduces a basic concept of diversity management as an approach which arises its key principles from general management. The first part focuses on one of the major diversity aspects ? the gender. The second part of the paper used primary andsecondary data about gender pay gap and showed and proved that women on the labour market get paid less and also their number at managerial positions is not in balance. Successful examples in the final part of the paper show that many companies understand the importance of implementation of diversity programmes in their company environment and culture to increase their effectiveness and competitive advantage..
