The article focuses on an issue of a qualified labour shortage which the manufacturing company EWM HIGHTEC WELDING s.r.o. faces. The company has been dealing with the shortage of qualified university graduates for a long time. This may lead to a loss of a competitive advantage of the company in the future. The aim is to make recommendations by collecting primary and secondary data. . The recommendations are boosted by the newest findings in the personnel marketing area that considers an employee as a customer and uses marketing principles in the human resources area.
