Fiber cross sectional shape indices
Original language description
The main aim of this contribution is to compare cross sectional shape indices based on fractal dimension and indices from Fourier analysis with classical indices. In first two cases the image of cross sections is pretreated and transformed to the polar coordinates. Fractal dimensions are computed from analysis of variogram. For Fourier analysis the discrete Fourier transformation (DFT) is used.
