Effect of sewing speed on sewing process
Original language description
Sewing machine speed has direct relation with the needle temperature and tensile properties of the sewing thread,so in this article sewing machine is made to run at 1000rpm,2000rpm and 3000rpm respectively and temperature of the needle eye was measured with thermocamera and thermocouple and impact was measured for the 100%polyester sewing thread at different times of stitching by precisely taking out the thread from the seam and measuring its tensile properties at different speeds of machine then for cooling the needle, fan was installed and temperature reduction of 15% was observed.the paper shows the decrease in tensile properties of sewing thread at different speeds of machine and time of stitching whereas the reduction of needle temperature by faninstallation is clearly observed.
