Stitch length impact on sewing needle temperature
Original language description
"In this article the needle heat is measured without the thread at different stitch per inch (SPI) of the lock stitch sewing machine by thermocouple touched to the surface of needle and secondly thermocouple is inserted inside the groove of needle to measure needle temperature after periodic 10,20,30 and 60 seconds of sewing operation where as the machine is made to run at periodic sppeds from 1000rpm to 4700rpm.it is observed that decreasing stitch length causes an increase in the temperature of the sewing needle."
