Impact of different factors on sewing needle temperature for industrial lockstitch machine
Original language description
Sewing needle heat up for industrial lockstitch machine is serious issue starting from the demand for higher production .A lot of work has been done to calculate the sewing needle temperature theoretically and experimentally. In this research influence of the variables like stitches/cm, sewing speed, number of fabric layers, and the time of sewing are chosen as input parameters. Needle temperature was experimentally measured by Inserted thermocouple method. The results from the experiments are used forstatistical model, which can help us find the optimum experimental conditions and the relationships between needle temperature and selected parameters. It is observed that sewing speed is the most important factor for needle temperature followed by sewing time, number of layer and the stitch density.
