We improve the computational efficiency of the adaptive wavelet method for the fourth-order elliptic problems with homogeneous Dirichlet boundary conditions. It will be done by the improvement of the condition number of wavelet bases and by modificationsof the algorithm. We compare the quantitative behavior of the method for several boundary-adapted wavelet bases.
