Original language description
A carried out bachelor thesis was focused on preparation and characterization of polyethersulfon membranes doped by micro- and nanoparticles of zinc oxide. Particles sizes of 13, 50, 100 and 1000 nm in the diameter were used and compared. Main goal was to prepare membrane with antimicrobial properties that can prolong the filtration cycle.The antimicrobial properties of the prepared membranes, their filtration characteristics with the demineralized water and with the diluted activated sludge were evaluated. Moreover, the stability of ZnO in the membrane, ZnO leaching respectively, cross-section and surface morphology, and contact angle was evaluated as well.
