  • Original language description

    We consider a mathematical model for a bacterial growth in a Petri dish. The model consists of partial differential equations and a hysteresis operator describing the relationship between some variables of the equations. We consider the hysteresis relation to be represented by a completed relay operator. We prove the existence of a solution to the system by using the standard approximation method.

    Uvažujeme matematický model růstu bakterií v Petriho misce. Model pozůstáva z parciálních diferenciálních rovnic a hysterezního operátoru opisujícího vztah mezi neznámými v rovnici. Uvažujeme hysterezi typu zkompletizovaného relay typu. Dokážeme existenci řešení využitím standartní aproximační metody.
