The contribution deals with an independent electric 2WD powertrain model to be used in vehicle dynamics modeling and simulations in ADAM/Car. A brief introduction to the topic and short theoretical background is described in the paper. The rest of the paper is dedicated to description of the powertrain template and it's use in the simulation model of the whole vehicle. An application of the model for ECU development is suggested.
