Original language description
The objective of this study is to explain of the focus of the GIF international organization. There are the basic types of generation IV. reactors. This study is focused on application of structural materials for generation IV. reactors – MSR (Molten Salt Reactor) and VHTR (Very Hight Temperature Reactor). Their basic description, corrosion problems and proposed structural materials. In the next part the article deals with evaluation of structural materials. There is presented the issue of corrosion in fluoride salts and methods of its measurement.
