Autonomous Control System of Electrically Regenerable Diesel Particulate Filter for Light Duty Vehicles
Original language description
This paper describes a new approach to designing ERDPF control system. Contrary to the previous system, which used the high performance relay for switching the regeneration current, the new solution uses only semiconductor electronic parts. The ERDPF filter is designed to meet the requirements of the EURO 6 emission standard for PM. The ERDPF filter was designed with emphasis on the independence of the connection to internal vehicle communication buses, which means that the ERDPF control system does notneed any external data for its correct function.
