Methodology for complex energy efficiency evaluation of high-power variable speed drive applications
Original language description
The paper compares two mathematical models of highpower variable speed drive with different levels of complexity. It mainly focusses on efficiency evaluation during full-range operation. In order to propose flexible and quick mathematical approach, all models are based on analytical equations. The results are presented using a real-life case study of 6 MW circulating pump application employed in a thermal power plant.
