Analysis of education requirements for electronics manufacturing within concept Industry 4.0

  • Original language description

This article is focused on education requirements for electronics manufacturing within concept Industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 is a term for a new era of intelligent manufacturing caused by development of digitalization and robotics. The main vision of this concept are smart factories that will connected by Cyber-physical system. These factories will also use new technologies such as augmented reality. The skills and qualifications of employees will be very important for companies because the controlling or maintenance will require only employees with high qualification. For this reason the Industry 4.0 will affect not only changes in the labor market but also in education. The Education 4.0 is a new concept of education that will combine real and virtual world. But this concept will bring some new risks. In this paper, these risks of Education 4.0 are analyzed and evaluated by the Semi-quantitative risk assessment matrix. In the next part of this article, questionnaires from the production environment are analyzed and evaluated. These questionnaires were focused on knowledge Industry 4.0 and requirements for education of employees in the electronics production.
