Proposal for the thematic workshop "Be creative! Strengthen your teamwork and problem solving!" was based on an international research project that was carried out between 2021 and 2022. The main theme of the international research was to map the most important competences needed for interdisciplinary teamwork. The research project design was focused on a group of 96 students from different disciplines at two universities in Bavaria during the years 2021-2022. The research was based on a case study approach using innovative methods combined with quantitative and qualitative analysis. The respondents of the international research were students from two German universities: 1) Deggendorf Institute of Technology, Deggendorf, Germany, 2) University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden, Germany. The aim of the research was to observe and describe preferred key skills, experiential reflection and to develop the necessary competences for interdisciplinary teamwork through thematic workshops.The aim of the workshops was to foster inner creativity and accelerate the emergence of new ideas and visions through creative techniques based on the principle of Design Thinking. As accelerators of new ideas and visions, the workshops provided participants with a number of interesting principles and techniques that they can use for their future teamwork. It was a few hours of inspiration in an experiential way with an emphasis on developing creative thinking, where the lecturer was a guide and the participants worked in small teams with maximum commitment and time limits within the planned tasks. The workshops were sized for a maximum of 25 students from different fields of study with a total allocation of 5h for the online form and 8h for the contact form. During the summer and winter semesters 2021-2022, 96 students participated in the 6 workshops.
