    The proposal for the thematic workshops &quot;Developing Key Skills Through Design Thinking!&quot; was based on research collaboration between the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art, University of West Bohemia in Pilsen and two German universities 1) Deggendorf Institute of Technology, Deggendorf, Germany, 2) University of Applied Sciences Amberg - Weiden, Germany. The main topic of the international interdisciplinary research was the issue of key competences, which were developed in the form of design thinking among the workshop participants. The aim of the workshops was to support problem-solving in teamwork and to strengthen the key skills of interdisciplinary work in teams. As accelerators of new ideas and visions, the workshops brought to the participants a number of interesting principles and techniques that they can use for their future teamwork. It was several hours of inspiration in an experiential form with an emphasis on the development of creative thinking, when the lecturer was a guide and the participants worked in small teams with maximum commitment and time limits within the planned tasks. The workshops were designed for a maximum of 35 students from various fields of study with a total subsidy of 5 hours for the online form and for the contact form of teaching. During the summer and winter semesters of 2023, 56 students participated in 4 workshops.
