    One of the ways to improve didactic preparation of students is to use case study method from subject methodologies. Case study is a complex and creative solution of a given didactic situation in a simulated didactic environment. Didactic situation is understood as short-term interaction between teacher and pupils, (or among pupils), that is defined by the content and the way of solution, i.e. the chosen methods, , means and forms. . The lengths of interaction should not exceed 5 minutes, the content should be of a cognitive character or effective or sensomotoric character. Students create preconcepts of a case study. The solution is videorecorded for the following analysis and reflection.. The detailed analysis is followed by improvements of solution in the form of postconcept of the study. The case study has many common features with the video study or microteaching. It is a very progressive field of applied pedagogic research.
